  • Hello, I'm just getting settled in with my new Scarlett 2i2. I'm wondering about the pros and cons of using this device not only for recording but also as the main output for sound on my computer. The outputs are 1/4' mono but I could get an adapter that connects to my computer speakers.
  • Hey guys, excuse my inexperience. I just bought Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. They gifted me Abelton Live lite and Pro Tools first. But I dont have enough presets and plugins (and ect.) for guitar. Can i use original DAW with cracked plug-ins and if i can what do u recommend? As you recognized im a newbie and need your experience, tips.
  • Scarlett 2i2 is officially supported in use with USB-C iPad Pros. Setup and operation is simple: just plug in, fire up your favourite music-making app, and enjoy the Focusrite sound wherever you go. Scarlett 2i2 has been tested extensively with Garageband, Cubasis 2, Auria Pro, Ampify Launchpad, Ampify Groovebox and Ampify Blocs Wave, as well.
  • Scarlett 2i2 FOR Live Sound So far it's been a dream, however we have our back tracks running out of a MacBook to a scarlett 2i2 interface in mono (L) and then a click (R) into the xr18. Do i have to buy ANOTHER interface with more outputs to be able to send a stereo of the back tracks as well as the click separated or can i use the scarlett's.

OUR TECHNOLOGY IS SOUND

Incredibly reliable, Focusrite hardware won’t let you down. If, however, you come across a problem you can rely on our global support team and your three-year warranty to get it sorted. Sound.

Focusrite has introduced its Scarlett 2i2, a 2-in/2-out USB 2.0 audio interface (priced at $149 street). Besides the company’s mic/instrument preamps, 24-bit/96 kHz digital conversion and monitor control, it features a new uni-body industrial design.

Other features on the Scarlett 2i2 include LED-halo signal indicators, which encircle each of the gain controls. These glow green when an input signal is detected and turn red if clipping occurs, to provide a way of ensuring that an appropriate signal level is achieved.

The Scarlett 2i2 has a pair of quarter-inch TRS jack outputs for feeding powered studio monitors or an external audio device, such as a mixer. A large knob provides control of the output level, and direct monitoring allows for zero-latency tracking. There’s also a quarter-inch headphones output with dedicated level control. Since the interface is bus-powered, an additional power supply is not needed, meaning the interface is truly portable. In addition, it’s bundled with the Focusrite Scarlett Plug-in Suite as well as Ableton Live Lite.
